With the winery Vollmer 50 Hl Pinot Gris comes a first-class white wine in the glass. In this it presents a wonderfully brilliant, copper-gold color. In the glass, this white wine from Weingut Vollmer reveals aromas of quince, nashi pear, apples and pears, complemented by whole nut chocolate, roasted hazelnut and walnut. This wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with 6.4 grams of residual sugar. This is a real quality wine, which clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this German wine enchants naturally with all dryness with the finest balance. Excellent taste does not necessarily require a lot of sugar. On the palate, the texture of this light-footed white wine is wonderfully light. Due to its concise fruit acidity, the 50 Hl Pinot Gris reveals itself exceptionally fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this youthful white wine from the wine-growing region of the Palatinate finally inspires with good length. Once again, hints of quince and apple appear.
Vinification of the 50 Hl Pinot Gris from Weingut Vollmer
This white wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Pinot Gris. Only the best grapes were harvested for this wonderfully elegant single-varietal wine from Weingut Vollmer. After the harvest, the grapes quickly reach the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in large wood at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled. After the wine is finished, the 50 Hl Pinot Gris is carefully harmonized.
