In the finish, this youthful red wine from the wine-growing region of the Palatinate finally inspires with good length. Once again, hints of mulberry and blueberry show.
Vinification of the 50 HL Pinot Noir from Weingut Heinrich Vollmer
This red wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, and that is Pinot Noir. For this exceptionally balanced varietal wine from Weingut Heinrich Vollmer, only the best grape material was brought in. After the grape harvest, the grapes reach the winery by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn into bottles. Once the wine is finished, the 50 HL Pinot Noir is carefully harmonized.
Food recommendation for the 50 HL Spätburgunder from Weingut Heinrich Vollmer
This German wine is best enjoyed at a temperature of 15 - 18°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to braised chicken in red wine, goose breast with gingered red cabbage and marjoram or veal boiled beef with beans and tomatoes.
