Vinification of the Jung & Knobloch Albiger Hundskopf Ortega Trockenbeerenauslese noble sweet
The elegant Albiger Hundskopf Ortega Trockenbeerenauslese edelsüß from Germany is a single-varietal wine, vinified from the Ortega grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Rheinhessen. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of sand, limestone, loess, clay and marl. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the completion of fermentation, the Albiger Hundskopf Ortega Trockenbeerenauslese noble sweet can harmonize further for several months on the fine yeast.
