On the palate, the Alìe Rosé Toscana from Frescobaldi starts off wonderfully dry, grippy and aromatic. There is dry and really dry. This rosé wine belongs to the second group, as it was bottled with just 2.4 g of residual sugar. On the tongue, this light-footed rosé wine is characterized by an incredibly light texture. Thanks to the balanced fruit acidity, the Alìe Rosé Toscana flatters the palate with a velvety feel without lacking freshness. On the finish, this youthful rosé wine from the Tuscany wine-growing region delights with its considerable length. Once again, there are hints of star fruit and papaya.
Vinification of Frescobaldi Alìe Rosé Toscana
The elegant Alìe Rosé Toscana from Italy is a cuvée made from the Syrah and Vermentino grape varieties. After harvesting, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks and bottle fermentation at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
Recommendation for the Alìe Rosé Toscana from Frescobaldi
This Italian rosé wine is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C. It is perfect as an accompaniment to a potato pan with salmon, vegetable stew with pesto or a fruity endive salad.
