The Amarone Valpolicella Classico Riserva from Zenato in Veneto offers a dense, ruby red color in the wine glass. Held at a slight angle, the wine glass reveals a charming garnet-red hue at the edges. This Zenato red wine reveals all kinds of plums, mulberries, plums, blueberries and blackcurrants on the nose. As if that wasn't already impressive, the ageing in small wooden barrels adds further aromas such as lovage, green bell pepper and juniper.
The Amarone Valpolicella Classico Riserva from Zenato is ideal for all wine lovers who like it dry. However, it is never austere or brittle, but round and smooth. On the palate, this powerful red wine is characterized by an incredibly fleshy and powerful texture. The Amarone Valpolicella Classico Riserva is extraordinarily fresh and lively on the palate thanks to its distinctive fruit acidity. On the finish, this very storable red wine from the Veneto wine-growing region finally impresses with good length. There are again hints of plum and morello cherry.
