Viticulture par excellence at Andreas Laible
Some of the vines of the highly acclaimed winery are more than 50 years old. To ensure that they will continue to supply the valuable grapes for the finesse-rich wines for a long time to come, they are carefully and respectfully handled by the winegrowing family. Also the soils experience his very careful treatment. And that can sometimes lead to a lot of manual work in the rocky steep slopes. And so the grapes are also picked selectively by hand before they are gently processed in the cellar. Andreas Laible and his team take care to preserve the aromas from the vineyard in the wine. Therefore, the grapes are fermented exclusively in stainless steel tanks with natural yeasts.

The winery cultivates an outstanding site. On the"Durbacher Plauelrain", for example, vines thrive on granite weathered soils in various Gewannen, well protected by a forest fringe that keeps out the cold north wind. The Rieslings of the winery are mineral-herbal-spicy or also gripping with juicy fruit. In any case, they spoil the palate in the finest way. In any case, the melty-nutty Pinot Gris, which is slightly reminiscent of tobacco, as well as the concentrated Chardonnay with pure fruit and the powerful Traminer Auslese with lychee notes are worth mentioning.

- Riesling
- Scheurebe
