The history of Argiolas winery is a family story that begins in the early 20th century in Serdiana, in the fertile south of Sardinia, a land of farmers, characterized by olive groves and vineyards.
Argiolas - Sardinia's terroir in a glass
It was here that the patriarch Antonio Argiolas was born in 1906. It was he who started planting rows, combining vineyard with vineyard and producing quality with vision. His two sons, Franco and Giuseppe, inherited this passion from him and in turn passed it on to their wives Pina and Marianna and then to their children.
Today the third generation of Argiolas is already working in the cellar: that of Antonio's grandson. After all, it's simple: harvest after harvest, from parents to children and to their children, that's how the tradition is passed on.
Today, Argiolas cultivates over 200 hectares of vines in Sardinia, growing both international classics and autochthonous grape varieties. In the bottle comes at Argiolas
- Vermentino
- Cannonau
- Carignano
- Malvasia Nera
- Monica
- Nuragus
- Bovale
By consistently striving for quality and the uniqueness of Sardinian viticulture, Argiolas has produced great classics, from the Costamolino Vermentino di Sardegna to Is Argiolas and Iselis to the flagships Korem and Turriga.
