More information
The red wine Ars Nova of Vitivinicola Tandem from the D.O.. Navarra in northern Spain brings together Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo and Merlot in a smooth blend.
In the glass, this Spanish red wine is deep cherry red with purple highlights. On the nose opens a rich bouquet with spicy, mineral notes, red ripe fruit. Fine and finesse on the palate. Aromas of elderberry, sloe and blackberry come to the fore and are enveloped by well-integrated tannins. The finish awaits with floral notes, soft character and medium length.
Vinification of the Tandem Ars Nova
This Spanish red wine is vinified as a blend of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Tempranillo and 20% Merlot. The vines are on average 28 years old. The harvest is carried out partly as a manual harvest, partly by machine. After temperature-controlled separate maceration, this wine is aged for 9 months in 300-liter French oak barrels.
Food recommendation for the Ars Nova Tandem
A fine, flavorful Spanish wine that is ideal with braised and game dishes, stuffed or gratinated pasta and medium-aged cheeses that are not too strong.
