The Assmannshäuser Höllenberg Pinot Noir Crescentia from Kloster Eberbach in the Rheingau presents a brilliant, light red color when swirled in the glass. When the glass is swirled, this red wine is characterized by a wonderful brilliance that makes it dance lively in the glass. To the nose, this Kloster Eberbach red wine shows all sorts of black currants, blueberries, plums, blackberries and mulberries. As if that wasn't already impressive, smoked meat, cinnamon and brown bread join in due to the aging in small wooden barrels.

The Kloster Eberbach Assmannshäuser Höllenberg Pinot Noir Crescentia presents itself pleasantly dry to the wine connoisseur. This red wine never shows itself coarse or meager, as one might expect from a wine top wine range. Light-footed and multifaceted, this dense red wine presents itself on the palate. Due to its present fruit acidity, the Assmannshäuser Höllenberg Pinot Noir Crescentia presents itself exceptionally fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this red wine from the wine-growing region of the Rheingau finally inspires with exceptional length. There are again hints of black cherry and blackberry. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the slate-dominated soils join in.

Vinification of the Kloster Eberbach Assmannshäuser Höllenberg Pinot Noir Crescentia

The elegant Assmannshäuser Höllenberg Spätburgunder Crescentia from Germany is a single-varietal wine, pressed from the Spätburgunder grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Rheingau region. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of slate. Of course, Assmannshäuser Höllenberg Pinot Noir Crescentia is also determined by the climate and viticultural style Assmannshausen. This German wine can be described in the best sense of the word as an Old World wine, which presents itself exceptionally complex. When the perfect physiological ripeness is ensured, the grapes for Assmannshäuser Höllenberg Spätburgunder Crescentia are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of coarse and less selective full harvesters. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in small wood at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Assmannshäuser Höllenberg Pinot Noir Crescentia is aged for several months in oak barrels.
