Vinification of Weingut Hammel Aus dem Herzen Cabernet Sauvignon
This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Cabernet Sauvignon. Only the best grapes were used for this exceptionally well-balanced single-varietal wine from Weingut Hammel. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Palatinate. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into loam and loess soils. After manual harvesting, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in large wooden vats at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by maturation for several months in oak barrels.
