Vinification of the Cantine Bove Avegiano Montepulciano d'Abruzzo
This balanced red wine from Italy is made from the Montepulciano grape variety. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in large oak barrels at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by maturation for 10 months in 2400-liter double Slavonian barrels. The ageing in the barrel is followed by a long bottle ageing period, which makes this red wine even more complex.
