More information about Barbaresco DOCG - Ceretto

With the Ceretto Barbaresco, a first-class red wine is poured into the glass. It has a wonderfully bright, ruby red color. When swirling the wine glass, you can perceive a first-class balance in this red wine, as it is neither watery nor syrupy or liqueur-like on the walls of the glass. This single-varietal Italian wine reveals wonderfully expressive notes of plums, prunes, blackberries and blueberries in the glass. There are also hints of other fruits.

This dry red wine from Ceretto is ideal for wine drinkers who like it absolutely dry. This dense and fleshy red wine is balanced and complex on the palate. On the finish, this red wine from the Piedmont wine-growing region delights with its beautiful length. There are again hints of morello cherry and plum.

Vinification of Barbaresco from Ceretto

This balanced red wine from Italy is made from the Nebbiolo grape variety. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place at controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by ageing.

Dining recommendations for the Barbaresco from Ceretto

This red wine from Italy is best enjoyed at a temperature of 15 - 18°C as an accompaniment to stuffed peppers, ossobuco or boeuf bourguignon.
