In the glass, this red wine from Bolla offers aromas of blueberries, morello cherries, black cherries, blackcurrants and mulberries, complemented by cinnamon, gingerbread spice and oriental spices. On the palate, the Bardolino Classico from Bolla starts off wonderfully aromatic, fruity and balanced. The finish of this youthful wine from the Veneto wine-growing region is delightfully long. Once again, there are hints of plum and damson.
Vinification of the Bolla Bardolino Classico
This elegant red wine from Italy is made from the Corvina and Rondinella grape varieties. Once perfect physiological ripeness is ensured, the grapes for the Bardolino Classico are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of coarse and less selective grape harvesters. After manual harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is complete, the Bardolino Classico can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.
