Bardolino DOC - Zenato

The Bardolino from Zenato is an uncomplicated, fruity and harmonious red wine cuvée from the Italian wine-growing region DOC Bardolino in Veneto.

This wine presents itself with a bright ruby red color in the glass and reveals its straightforward and fruity bouquet, which is dominated by cherries and violets. This Italian red wine is fruity and harmonious on the palate with a hint of almond. The tannins remain discreetly in the background and allow the fullness of the fruit to take precedence.

Vinification of Zenato's Bardolino

The grapes for this cuvée are made from Corvina, Rondinella and Morellino. The vines grow on loamy and calcareous soils. The Mediterranean climate is characterized by dry summers and mild, humid winters.

The grapes are harvested by hand and selected in the vineyard. Once the grapes arrive in the Zenato wine cellar, they are destemmed, macerated at a controlled temperature and fermented in stainless steel tanks. Once the fermentation process is complete, the wine remains on the skins for another 4 weeks.
