More information
The Barefoot Cuvée from the wine-growing region the Palatinate reveals itself in the glass in brilliantly shimmering light yellow, copper gold. The bouquet of this white wine from the Palatinate enchants with aromas of quince, pear, nashi pear and apple. If we trace the aromatics further, whole nut chocolate, roasted almond and brittle are added.
On the palate, Tina Pfaffmann's Barefoot Cuvée starts out wonderfully dry, grippy and aromatic.Despite its dry taste, this white wine enchants with the finest melt and finely woven residual sweetness. Light-footed and multifaceted, this dense and light white wine presents itself on the palate. Due to its lively fruit acid, the Barefoot Cuvée presents itself exceptionally fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this youthful from the wine-growing region of the Palatinate finally inspires with good length. There are again hints of pear and apple. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the soils dominated by limestone and loess soil join in.
Vinification of the Barefoot Cuvée by Tina Pfaffmann
The elegant Barefoot Cuvée from Germany is a cuvée, pressed from the grape varieties Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Palatinate region. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of limestone and loess. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally drawn into bottles.
