The barrel-aged Baron de Chirel Verdejo Rioja from the wine-growing region of La Rioja is a dense light yellow in the glass. Vinification of the Marqués de Riscal Baron de Chirel Verdejo Rioja
The powerful Baron de Chirel Verdejo Rioja from Spain is a single-varietal wine made from the Verdejo grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in La Rioja. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into granite soils. The grapes for this white wine from Spain are harvested exclusively by hand once optimum ripeness has been ensured. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in large oak barrels at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by maturation for 6 months in French oak barrels.
