Baron Nathaniel Pauillac AOC 2016 - Baron Rothschild
The Baron Nathaniel Pauillac AOC by Baron Philippe de Rothschild impresses with a powerful, deep red robe with violet reflections. In the nose unfolds a particularly inviting bouquet with fruity-spicy aromas of red berries, currants, strawberries and cherries, in the background a touch of spice and toast.
On the palate complex aromas of spicy vanilla as well as ripe black fruits, from the Cabernet Sauvignon it receives its powerful character with firm, aromatic ripened tannins, from the Merlot the soft, juicy fruit, and from the Cabernet Franc the elegance. Fine oak notes accompany the very long finish.
A wine with a remarkable ageing potential.
Vinification of the Baron Nathaniel Pauillac by Baron Philippe de Rothschild
This outstanding French red wine from Pauillac in the heart of Médoc in Bordeaux is vinified from three classic grape varieties: 43% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 22% Cabernet Franc. The grapes from different parcels are processed separately.
After the temperature-controlled fermentation, the must is macerated for four weeks. Subsequently, the young wine ripens for 12 months in oak barrels.
