The Légende R Pauillac from Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) combines two highly resonant names with magical appeal - Pauillac & Rothschild. This red wine cuvée from the Bordeaux region of France is vinified from the Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grape varieties.

This wine enters the glass with a dense ruby red color and smells intense, finely structured and complex of ripe red and black berry fruits, cassis and ripe cherry. Hints of leather as well as marmalade-like aromas of morello cherry and spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg develop as it swirls. On the palate, this French red is immensely complex, dense and long. The fruit acidity is consistent and gives this cuvée length and elegance. The tannins perfectly structure the palate and accompany into the long lasting finish.

Vinification of the Légende R Pauillac

After the careful harvest of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes, they are immediately brought to the cellar of Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite). There the grapes are first fermented in stainless steel tanks and then aged for 9 months in oak barrels (40%) and stainless steel tanks (60%).
