After the first swirl, this white wine is characterized by a wonderful brilliance that makes it dance nimbly in the glass. These are joined by hints of cinnamon, oriental spices and black tea.
This wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It has been bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. This is a true quality wine that clearly stands out from simpler qualities, and so this German wine naturally enraptures with the finest balance despite all its dryness. Aroma does not necessarily require a lot of sugar. Light-footed and multifaceted, this silky white wine presents itself on the palate. The finish of this white wine with good aging potential from the wine-growing region of Palatinate, more precisely from Nußdorf, finally convinces with considerable reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral hints of the soils dominated by clay and limestone.
Vinification of the Emil Bauer beachball Viognier
This elegant white wine from Germany is made from the Viognier grape variety. In the Palatinate region, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of clay, limestone and loess. The ripening of the grapes for this wine from Viognier is influenced to a considerable extent by the climate of the growing region. In the Palatinate, the grapes thrive in a rather cool climate, which is reflected, among other things, in particularly long and evenly ripened grapes and a rather moderate must weight. The grapes for this white wine from Germany, after ensuring optimal ripeness, are harvested exclusively by hand. After the harvest, the grapes reach the winery by the fastest route. Here they are selected and gently broken up. Fermentation follows in large wood at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for several months in oak tonneaux.
Food recommendation for the beachball Viognier from Emil Bauer
