Beaurevoir Tavel AOC 2019 - M. Chapoutier
The Beaurevoir Tavel AOC by M. Chapoutier shines splendidly intense ruby to raspberry pink in the glass. In the bouquet it unfolds, fruity aromas of ripe red fruits, cherries and pomegranates, with spicy nuances in the background. On the palate, this southern French rose reveals a full-bodied, fruity character, powerful tasty notes of red stone fruits, round and harmonious in the long finish.
Vinification of the Beaurevoir Tavel AOC by M. Chapoutier
The wine-growing region around the town of Tavel on the southern course of the Rhone, is one of the most favored regions of the sun. Here only grape varieties are grown for Rosé wines. Already in the time of the Popes and the Kings, to Balzac and Brillat-Savarin, the Rosé wines from Tavel have always been among the best in France and as an ideal accompaniment of food. The climate here is continental with Mediterranean influences. The vines grow partly on alluvial soil with pebbles, partly on loamy soil.
For the Beaurevoir Tavel from M. Chapoutier, 100% Grenache grapes are harvested ripe, the traditional maceration lasts between 24 and 36 hours, after which the juice is separated by "bleeding" from the skins. The wine matures in vats and is bottled only in spring.
