More information

This varietal French wine flatters in the glass delightfully distinguished notes of quince, apples, pears and nashi pear. These are joined by hints of other fruits.

The M. Chapoutier Beaurevoir Tavel presents itself pleasantly dry to the wine connoisseur. This rosé wine is never coarse or meager, but round and smooth. On the palate, the texture of this balanced rosé wine is wonderfully melting, fleshy and dense. In the finish, this youthful rosé wine from the wine-growing region of the Rhône Valley finally thrills with considerable length. Once again, hints of nashi pear and apple show. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the soils dominated by clay and limestone are added.

Vinification of the Beaurevoir Tavel by M. Chapoutier

The balanced Beaurevoir Tavel from France is a single varietal wine vinified from the Grenache grape variety. In the Rhône Valley, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of limestone, clay and marl. The grapes for this rosé wine from France, after ensuring optimal ripeness, are harvested exclusively by hand . After harvesting, the grapes reach the press house by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully ground. Then fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Beaurevoir Tavel can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for 4 months....

Food recommendation for the Beaurevoir Tavel from M. Chapoutier

Experience this rosé wine from France best well chilled at 8 - 10°C as an accompaniment to fennel salad with red lentils, spaghetti with yogurt-mint pesto or Japanese-style fillet of turbot with vegetable julienne.
