The light-footed Weingut Hammel Keine Beerenauslese presents us with an incredibly fruity taste on the palate, which is not least due to its residual sweet taste profile. The texture of this light-footed white wine is wonderfully crisp and velvety on the palate. The Beerenauslese reveals itself to be exceptionally fresh and lively on the palate thanks to its concise fruit acidity. The finish of this white wine from the Palatinate wine-growing region, which is capable of maturing well, impresses with a good aftertaste. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes from the loess and limestone-dominated soils.
Vinification of Weingut Hammel Beerenauslese
Riesling, Scheurebe and Silvaner grapes form the basis for the first-class and wonderfully elegant Cuvée Beerenauslese from Weingut Hammel. The vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on limestone and loess soils in the Palatinate. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
