More information

With the M. Chapoutier Belleruche blanc Côtes du Rhône comes a first-class white wine in the swirled glass. In this it reveals a wonderfully dense, pale yellow color. In the glass, this white wine from M. Chapoutier presents aromas of apples, vineyard peaches, nectarines, apricots and peaches, complemented by cinnamon, oriental spices and dark chocolate. This dry white wine from M. Chapoutier is for wine connoisseurs who like it absolutely dry. The Belleruche blanc Côtes du Rhône already comes very close to this, it was vinified with just 0.7 grams of residual sugar. Due to its present fruit acidity, the Belleruche blanc Côtes du Rhône presents itself exceptionally fresh and lively on the palate. The finish of this youthful white wine from the wine-growing region the Rhône Valley, more precisely from Côtes-du-Rhône, finally impresses with good reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes of the soils dominated by limestone and clay.

Vinification of the M. Chapoutier Belleruche blanc Côtes du Rhône

The basis for the powerful Belleruche blanc Côtes du Rhône from the Rhône Valley are grapes from the varieties Bourboulenc, Clairette, Grenache Blanc, Roussanne and Viognier. In the Rhône Valley, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of clay and limestone. The grapes for this white wine from France, when perfectly ripe, are harvested exclusively by hand . After the hand harvest, the grapes immediately enter the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully ground. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally drawn into bottles.

Food recommendation for the Belleruche blanc Côtes du Rhône by M. Chapoutier

Experience this white wine from France ideally well chilled at 8 - 10°C as an accompaniment to vegetable stew with pesto, leek tortilla or stir-fried vegetables with fish.
