With the Château Beauregard Benjamin de Beauregard Pomerol comes a first-class red wine in the glass. In this it presents a wonderfully bright, crimson color. The first nose of Benjamin de Beauregard Pomerol presents notes of black cherries, plums and morello cherries. The fruity aspects of the bouquet are joined by notes of barrel aging such as juniper, garrigue and green peppers.
This dry red wine from Château Beauregard is just right for people who like it absolutely dry. On the palate, the texture of this balanced red wine presents itself wonderfully dense. The fruit acid of the Benjamin de Beauregard Pomerol is pleasantly rounded and makes this wine wonderfully smooth. In the finish, this red wine from the wine-growing region of Bordeaux finally inspires with considerable length. Again, hints of plum and black cherry show. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the soils dominated by gravel and clay are added.
Vinification of Château Beauregard Benjamin de Beauregard Pomerol
The basis for Château Beauregard's premium and wonderfully balanced Benjamin de Beauregard Pomerol cuvée is Cabernet Franc and Merlot grapes. In Bordeaux, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of clay and gravel. When perfectly ripe, the grapes for Benjamin de Beauregard Pomerol are harvested exclusively by hand, without the help of coarse and less selective full harvesters. After the harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in concrete at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by 12 months of aging in oak barrels.
