More information
The Birnauer Müller-Thurgau from the Baden wine-growing region appears in the glass in brilliantly shimmering light yellow. This varietal German wine flatters in the glass wonderfully expressive notes of white currants, apples, nashi pear and gooseberries. These are joined by hints of other fruits.
This wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with 3.2 grams of residual sugar. This is a real quality wine, which clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this German wine naturally enchants with the finest balance despite all dryness. Aroma does not necessarily need residual sugar. Light-footed and complex, this light white wine presents itself on the palate. Due to its lively fruit acidity, the Birnauer Müller-Thurgau reveals itself to be exceptionally fresh and lively on the palate. The finale of this youthful white wine from the wine-growing region of Baden, more precisely from Birnau, finally thrills with considerable reverberation.
Vinification of the winery Markgraf von Baden Birnauer Müller-Thurgau
The basis for the elegant Birnauer Müller-Thurgau from Baden are grapes from the grape variety Müller-Thurgau. After the hand harvest, the grapes quickly reach the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
