More information about Bischoffinger Enselberg ZEIT Pinot Noir Reserve - Abril
In the glass, the organically produced Bischoffinger Enselberg ZEIT Pinot Noir Reserve from Abril presents a bright light red color. Swiveling the glass, one can perceive a first-class balance in this red wine, as it stands out neither watery nor syrupy or liqueur-like on the walls of the glass. The nose of this red wine from Baden convinces with hints of sour cherry and blackberry. If we trace the aromatics further, smoky notes come in.
The Abril Bischoffinger Enselberg ZEIT Pinot Noir Reserve presents itself to the wine drinker wonderfully dry. This red wine is never coarse or meager, but round and smooth. On the tongue, this balanced red wine is characterized by an incredibly velvety texture. Due to the balanced fruit acidity, the Bischoffinger Enselberg ZEIT Pinot Noir Reserve flatters with a soft palate feeling, without lacking juicy liveliness. On the finish, this youthful red wine from the Baden wine-growing region finally delights with considerable length. Once again, hints of blackberry and sour cherry show through.
Vinification of the Abril Bischoffinger Enselberg ZEIT Pinot Noir Reserve
This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, and that is Pinot Noir. Only the best grapes were used for this wonderfully balanced single-varietal wine from Abril. After the harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in small wood at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for several months in oak barriques.
