Vinification of the Blaufränkisch Cabernet Reserve from Triebaumer
Blaufränkisch, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes form the basis for the first-class and wonderfully balanced Blaufränkisch Cabernet Reserve cuvée from Triebaumer. The grapes for the Blaufränkisch Cabernet Reserve are harvested exclusively by hand at optimum ripeness, without the use of coarse and less selective grape harvesters. After manual harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in small wooden vats at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the elegant Blaufränkisch Cabernet Reserve is matured for several months in oak barrels.
