More information
In the glass, the Blaufränkisch from the pen of Robert Goldenits reveals a bright purple color. The nose of this Robert Goldenits red wine presents all sorts of blackberries. As if that were not already impressive, white pepper and blueberry join in due to the aging in large wooden barrels.
The Robert Goldenits Blaufränkisch impresses with its elegantly dry taste. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. This is a real quality wine, which clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this Austrian naturally enchants with the finest balance despite all dryness. Taste does not necessarily need sugar. On the palate, the texture of this balanced red wine is wonderfully dense. In the finish, this well storable red wine from the wine-growing region of Burgenland finally inspires with considerable length. There are again hints of blackberry.
Vinification of the Blaufränkisch from Robert Goldenits
The basis for the balanced Blaufränkisch from Austria are grapes from the grape variety Blaufränkisch. After the hand harvest, the grapes reach the winery by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully ground. Fermentation follows in large wood at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
