The clear, bright, elegant color of the Rosé from the Blaufränkisch Reserve of Triebaumer is reminiscent of fresh raspberries and rose petals. Aromas of fresh banana, juicy peach, rose hips and raspberries define the bouquet. A hint of fresh mint fills the nose. At optimal ripeness, nuances of juicy Mieze Schindler strawberries can be detected
An elegant melt with dancing fruit sweetness flatters the palate. The semi-dry taste of Triebaumer's Blaufränkisch Rosé is supported by a stimulating fruit acidity. Fresh pears can be tasted alongside Fine plums and mirabelles. The lively style of this lovely rosé from Austria and the simultaneously solid volume with charming finesse accompany the finish.
Vinification of the Triebaumer Rosé from the Blaufränkisch Reserve
This rosé from Triebaumer is produced in six batches at the end of September from the grapes for the Blaufränkisch Reserve. After selective hand-harvesting and maceration, the must is drawn off after 3 hours and then fermented chilled in steel tanks. Fermentation is finally interrupted by drawing off and cooling so that the rosé retains a natural residual sugar content.
Food recommendation for Triebaumer Blaufränkisch Rosé
Enjoy this light rosé from the classic grape variety Blaufränkisch as a well-chilled aperitif or with sheep's cheese with dried tomato chutney, beet soup, spinach ravioli, various salmon dishes or with pheasant with cranberries and pink pepper. The Triebaumers themselves say about their rosé: "Is also consumed privately by numerous men. Not for nothing also festival wine in Bregenz for four years."
