More information about Blaufränkisch trocken - Weingut Sonnenhof

In the glass, the Blaufränkisch from Weingut Sonnenhof shows a bright purple-red color. This Weingut Sonnenhof red wine presents all kinds of blackberries and violets to the nose.

This German wine delights with its straightforward dry taste. It was bottled with 3.4 grams of residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine, this German wine naturally delights with the finest balance despite its dryness. Excellent taste does not necessarily require residual sugar. The texture of this well-balanced red wine is wonderfully fleshy on the palate. Thanks to the moderate fruit acidity, the Blaufränkisch flatters the palate with a pleasing sensation without lacking in juicy liveliness. The finish of this red wine from the Württemberg wine-growing region impresses with a beautiful aftertaste.

Vinification of Weingut Sonnenhof Blaufränkisch

This balanced red wine from Germany is made from the Blaufränkisch grape variety. After harvesting, the grapes are transported to the press house as quickly as possible. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.

Dining recommendations for the Blaufränkisch from Weingut Sonnenhof

This German red wine is best enjoyed at a temperature of 15 - 18°C. It goes perfectly with vegetable couscous with beef rissoles, braised chicken in red wine or roasted veal liver with apples, onions and balsamic vinegar sauce.
