Bodegas D. Mateos Vineyards

The family winery and vineyards located in Aldeanueva de Ebro, the heart of Rioja Baja wines. With a long tradition of seven generations dedicated to the management of the vineyard. A lot of time is spent on research and development of new grape varieties in collaboration with the government of La Rioja. Particular focus is placed on the Tempranillo Blanco and Graciano grape varieties. They are particularly proud of producing wines with the qualified Rioja Denomination of Origin. They take care of all their hectares of vineyards d. Mateos, in the heart of Rioja Baja, to obtain a variety of versatile and high quality wines.

Bodegas D. Mateos Cellar

Limited production in great vintages. Wines with high terroir expression. Their barrel selection is crucial for complex and elegant aromatic profiles. Fine woods create flavors of stewed fruit, elegant finish, well-integrated toasts, creamy nuances. The French barrels come from Allier, Tronçais, Nevers, Bertranges, Jupilles. But also from the USA from Pennsylvania, Ohio and Missouri. The selection of their oldest vineyards with the finest selection of barrels from the cooperage produce the best qualities with which they have become famous beyond the country's borders. Qualified Designation of Origin Rioja is the standard for their products.
