Bonaventura Maschio

A great family, a great common passion. Over a century of history for five generations: from great-grandfather Antonio to the current sole director Italo, who together with his children Anna and Andrea continues the tradition of a company that has always sought and found values in work, research and quality, essential and authentic. Together with the Maschio family have grown and emerged whole generations of winemakers, distillers, oenologists, winemakers. They share the same experience and desire for innovation and quality in all creative and productive aspects.

The exciting adventure begins at the end of the 19th century in Cismon del Grappa, between the banks of the Brenta and the peaks of Monte Grappa, where the Maschio family farmed the land and distilled grappa with the still. After trips to Romania and Hungary, the Maschio family returned to Italy with the cart with the stills, a symbol of belonging, the heart of an uninterrupted family tradition. Just a stone's throw from the Piave bed, Antonio Maschio founded the company and it was his nephew Bonaventura who put an entrepreneurial stamp on the distilling art of the early 20th century. With the birth of the grape distillate Prime Uve, the company took a turn in the late 80s under Italo's leadership.

Gaiarine was once located in the heart of Central Europe, today it is in the center of the Northeast, one of the most economically and culturally interesting regions of Italy. Our vineyards inhabit a sweet and generous land between the rivers Piave and Tagliamento. Sweet landscapes that have made famous the canvases of Cima da Conegliano. Austria, Slovenia, Trieste, Venice, Padua, Verona are our neighbors, but we feel at home all over the world.
