The Bouvet Saphir Saumur Brut Vintage from Bouvet Ladubay shines light yellow with delicate green reflections in the glass. The perlage is very fine. On the nose, Bouvet Saphir shows plenty of white-fleshed peach, citrus nuances and subtle hints of lime blossom.
On the palate, this French sparkling wine is followed by a fresh fruity taste in which green apple and white peach are embedded. This vintage crémant in a class of its own reveals a full body with an excellent structured acidity. Particularly well suited as an aperitif or to finish a meal. Bouvet Saphir is a Brut Crémant that is not inconvenient at any time. Elegant and delicious - for all the beautiful moments in life.
Vinification of the Bouvet Saphir Crémant
Like any good Crémant, the Saphir is made in classic bottle fermentation. After bottle fermentation, the cuvée of Chardonnay and Chenin Blanc is aged for several months in Bouvet Ladubay's extensive cellars until the bottle is finally disgorged and the Saphir Brut is released to the market.
