The elegant Branciforti dei Bordonaro Rosato Terre Siciliane from Italy is a cuvée made from the Merlot and Nero d'Avola grape varieties. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Sicily. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into clay soils. The grapes for this rosé wine from Italy are harvested exclusively by hand once optimum ripeness has been ensured. After manual harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in small oak barrels at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is complete, the Branciforti dei Bordonaro Rosato Terre Siciliane is matured in oak barriques for a further 2 months. The ageing in the barrel is followed by considerable ageing in the bottle, which makes this rosé wine even more complex.
