More information
The Bree Merlot from Languedoc shows a brilliant purple color in the glass. With a little time in the glass, this red wine from Germany offers wonderfully expressive aromas of blackberry, mulberry, black currant and blueberry, rounded off by other fruity nuances.
The Bree Merlot presents itself to the wine connoisseur wonderfully dry. This red wine is never coarse or meager, as one might expect from a wine beyond the 4-euro mark. Light-footed and complex, this velvety red wine presents itself on the palate. Due to the moderate fruit acidity, the Bree Merlot flatters with velvety palate feeling, without at the same time lacking in juicy liveliness. The final of this red wine from the wine-growing region of the Languedoc finally convinces with beautiful reverberation.
Vinification of the Bree Merlot
The basis for the elegant Bree Merlot from the Languedoc are grapes from the grape variety Merlot. After the hand harvest, the grapes quickly reach the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully ground. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is complete, the Bree Merlot is allowed to further harmonize on the fine lees for a few months. Once the wine is finished, the Bree Merlot is gently harmonized.
