Bruderkuss - the actor and the wine
The brand Bruderkuss is the brainchild of actor Bruno Eyron, known among other things from the television series Balko, where he mimed the inspector of the same name. Eyron has also been a businessman for quite some time and ventured into the world of alcoholic beverages with Bruderkuss.
The Dry Gin was at the beginning
He began with a Dry Gin, which shows on the label a Popart representation of the famous brother kiss motive of the photographer Régis Bossu between Leonid Breschnew and Erich Honecker and which was drawn later by Dmitri Wrubel at the East Side Gallery on remains of the Berlin Wall again. This Dry Gin is produced by the distillery Thomas Sippel from Weisenheim am Berg for Eyron. Deliberately, only 999 bottles were bottled to create a luxurious exclusivity.
The wine from Bruderkuss
After the gin, Eyron turned to wine. For this, he was able to win over the Wageck winery from Bissersheim near Mannheim. The winery produces two cuvees for him:
- Bruderkuss Berlin Red Wine Cuvée
- Bruderkuss Berlin White Wine Cuvée
The Wageck winery uses its own terroir, which consists mainly of calcareous soils. For the cuvées of Bruderkuss Berlin, several different varieties are used, such as:
- Chardonnay
- Pinot Blanc
- Silvaner
- Muscat
as well as other traditional red Palatinate varieties.
With an affordable entry price, these wines try to make the big city flair accessible to everyone and revive the spirit of togetherness and reunion. You too can try the cuvées of the Bruderkuss brand!
