More information
In the glass, the Brunello Di Montalcino from Podere Fornacella reveals a dense ruby color. The first nose of Brunello Di Montalcino shows notes of violets, raspberries and sour cherries. The fruity components of the bouquet are joined by notes of barrel aging as even more fruity-balsamic nuances.
The Podere Fornacella Brunello Di Montalcino presents itself to the wine lover pleasantly dry. This red wine never shows itself coarse or meager, as one might expect from a wine. This fleshy and silky red wine presents itself on the palate full of pressure and complexity. In the finish, this wine from the wine-growing region of Tuscany finally inspires with beautiful length. Again, hints of violets and raspberry show.
Vinification of Podere Fornacella Brunello Di Montalcino
This red wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, Sangiovese. For this wonderfully powerful single-varietal wine from Podere Fornacella, only immaculate grapes were used. After the hand harvest, the grapes arrive quickly at the winery. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in large wood at controlled temperatures. After the completion of fermentation, the powerful Brunello Di Montalcino is aged for another 36 months in oak barrels.
Recommendation for Brunello Di Montalcino from Podere Fornacella
This Italian red wine is best enjoyed at a temperature of 15 - 18°C. It is perfect as an accompaniment to stuffed peppers, goose breast with gingered red cabbage and marjoram, or veal boiled beef with beans and tomatoes
