Cap Classique Brut - Graham Beck
The Cap Classique Brut from Graham Beck Wines sparkles in the glass in a golden yellow and presents itself with a fine perlage. Its bouquet unfolds the aromas of fresh citrus fruits paired with fine brioch notes.
This South African sparkling wine is complex on the palate, creamy and fresh and full of finesse due to its fine mousse. Chardonnay gives it freshness and elegance, Pinot Noir complexity.
Vinification of Graham Beck Cap Classique Brut
Cap Classique Brut is produced according to the Cap Classique method. This term was established in South Africa in 1992 to describe local sparkling wines produced according to the champagne method, since the name Champagne is protected and may only be used for sparkling wines from Champagne.
The grapes of the two grape varieties used, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, were hand-picked and fermented individually. The grapes are then filled with reserve wine, bottled and left to yeast for 15-18 months before disgorging.
Food recommendation for the Graham Beck Brut
Enjoy this sparkling wine as an aperitif, with light desserts or onion tart.
