More information about Bucephalus Red Blend - Black Stallion Estate

With the Black Stallion Estate Bucephalus Red Blend comes a first-class red wine in the glass. In this it reveals a wonderfully dense ruby color. At the edge also shows a colored transition into the brick-colored... After the first swirl, this red wine reveals a high density and fullness, which is evident in clear church windows at the edge of the glass. Poured into a red wine glass, this red wine from the USA presents wonderfully expressive aromas of blackberry and violet, rounded out by cedar, coffee/mocha and cocoa contributed by barrel aging.

The Black Stallion Estate Bucephalus Red Blend presents itself to the wine lover wonderfully dry. This red wine is never coarse or meager, but round and smooth. This dense red wine is full-bodied and multifaceted on the palate. Due to its vital fruit acidity, the Bucephalus Red Blend is fantastically fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this very storable red wine from the wine-growing region of California finally inspires with extraordinary length. Once again, hints of violets and blackberry show through.

Vinification of the Bucephalus Red Blend from Black Stallion Estate

The basis for the powerful Bucephalus Red Blend from California are grapes from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Syrah. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in large wood at controlled temperatures. After fermentation is complete, the powerful Bucephalus Red Blend is aged for several months in French oak barrels.

Food recommendation for the Black Stallion Estate Bucephalus Red Blend

This North American is best enjoyed tempered at 15 - 18°C. It pairs perfectly with osso buco, lamb stew with chickpeas and dried figs, or stuffed peppers.
