More information about Bundschuh Chardonnay trocken - Emil Bauer
The light-bodied Bundschuh Chardonnay from the pen of Emil Bauer enters the glass with a brilliant golden yellow color. Poured into a white wine glass, this white wine from Germany shows wonderfully expressive aromas of mango, Gallia melon, white currants and gooseberries, rounded off by other fruity nuances.
This white wine from Emil Bauer is something for wine lovers who like it absolutely dry. On the tongue, this light-footed white wine is characterized by an incredibly creamy texture. In the finish, this white from the wine-growing region of Palatinate finally inspires with good length. Once again, hints of Gallia melon and pineapple appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the soils dominated by loess and clay join in.
Vinification of the Emil Bauer Bundschuh Chardonnay
The basis for the elegant Bundschuh Chardonnay from the Palatinate are grapes from the Chardonnay grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Palatinate. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of clay, limestone and loess. When they are perfectly ripe, the grapes for Bundschuh Chardonnay are harvested particularly quickly and at the coolest possible time of day to preserve their aromas. After the harvest, the grapes reach the press house by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully milled. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn into bottles.
Food recommendation for the Bundschuh Chardonnay by Emil Bauer
This white wine from Germany is best enjoyed very well chilled at 5 - 7°C. It is perfect as a companion to omelet with salmon and fennel, wok vegetables with fish or fruity endive salad.
