The Bundschuh Pinot Blanc from the Pfalz wine region shows a bright light yellow color in the glass. In the glass, this white wine from Emil Bauer shows aromas of apples, lemons, pink grapefruit, pineapples and papayas, complemented by walnut, whole-nut chocolate and brittle. The Emil Bauer Bundschuh Pinot Blanc presents itself wonderfully dry to the wine lover. This white wine never shows itself coarse or meager, but round and smooth. On the palate, the texture of this balanced white wine is wonderfully light. The final of this white wine from the wine-growing region of Palatinate finally impresses with considerable reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes of the soils dominated by clay and loess.
Vinification of the Bundschuh Pinot Blanc from Emil Bauer
The balanced Bundschuh Pinot Blanc from Germany is a single varietal wine, made from the Pinot Blanc grape variety. In the Palatinate region, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of clay, limestone and loess. The grapes for this white wine from Germany, after ensuring optimal ripeness, are harvested particularly quickly and at the coolest possible time of day to preserve their aromas. After the manual harvest, the grapes reach the winery by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Bundschuh Pinot Blanc can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.
