In the glass, the organically produced Cabernet Blanc from the Lanz winery reveals a bright golden yellow color. If you give it some air in the glass by swirling, you can perceive a perfect balance in this white wine, as it does not stand out on the glass walls in a watery, syrupy or liqueur-like way. This single varietal German wine reveals delightfully distinguished notes of passion fruit, lemon and black currant in the glass. These are joined by hints of other fruits.
The Weingut Lanz Cabernet Blanc presents itself to the wine connoisseur wonderfully dry. This white wine is never coarse or meager, but round and smooth. On the palate, the texture of this balanced white wine is wonderfully silky. Due to its present fruit acidity, the Cabernet Blanc presents itself wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate. The finish of this youthful white wine from Germany finally convinces with a beautiful reverberation.
Vinification of the Lanz Cabernet Blanc Winery
The balanced Cabernet Blanc from Germany is a single-varietal wine, organically pressed from the Cabernet Blanc grape variety. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
