To the nose, this Domaine de Galuval red wine presents all sorts of black currants and blackberries. However, it never shows itself to be meager or brittle, as one might naturally expect from a wine in the upper price range. On the tongue, this powerful red wine is characterized by an incredibly dense texture. The fruit acidity of the Caladoc Méditerranée is wonderfully rounded, making this wine wonderfully smooth. In the finish, this youthful wine from the wine-growing region of Provence finally inspires with good length. There are again hints of blackberry and black currant. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the soils dominated by sand and clay are added.

This red wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, Caladoc. Only first-class grape material was used for this exceptionally powerful single-varietal wine from Domaine de Galuval. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Provence. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of clay and sand. The grapes for this red wine from France, when perfectly ripe, are harvested particularly quickly and preferably in the morning to preserve their aromas. After the manual harvest, the grapes are quickly transferred to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in concrete at controlled temperatures.
