The balanced Campo Marina Primitivo Merlot from Italy is a cuvée vinified from the Merlot and Primitivo grape varieties. Once perfect physiological ripeness is ensured, the grapes for the Campo Marina Primitivo Merlot are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of coarse and less selective harvesters. After the harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is complete, the Campo Marina Primitivo Merlot can continue to harmonize for 8 months in French and American oak barrels.
