Cantine Feudi di San Pancrazio
Salice Salentino – The Pride of the South
This Apulian cooperative, which has been producing the famous Salice Salentino since 1961 with grapes from its over 1000 hectare vineyards, is rightly considered the ‘Master of Salice Salentino’. The just under 900 organised vintners undertake all possible measures to make selections from their various vineyards and vinify the grapes separately.
The cooperative has set itself a lot of goals and has recently become owner of a modern barrique cellar. Currently, only about 15 % of the wine production is bottled, while the rest is sold regionally as bulk wine. The label on the Feudi di San Pancrazio wines, by the way, depicts a stylised rendition of the new cellars.
