The Italian winery Cantine Lunae was founded by Paolo Bosoni in 1966. That was the year he took over his family’s properties and – true to his passion and dreams – turned what was previously a farming operation into a wine estate.
He was convinced that the characteristics of the ripened grapes in the vineyard could be preserved as long as the grapes were treated with diligence and respect throughout all steps in the winemaking process.
For three generations, the family has followed the mantra ‘Quality before Quantity’: Luna only bottles a small quantity of wine each year, but they are exclusive, impressing wines.
The Lunae vineyards are located in Colli di Luni and reach from the plains south of the Magra River to the Apulian Alps in the province of La Spezia.
