The barrel-aged Carmenere Valle de Aconcagua from the viticultural region of Aconcagua appears in the glass in bright purple. When swirling the wine glass, one can perceive a first-class balance in this red wine, because it does not stand out on the glass walls watery or syrupy or liqueur-like. In the glass, this Arboleda red wine displays aromas of wild berry jam, blueberries, mulberries, plums and damsons, complemented by lovage, green peppers and garrigue. The Arboleda Carmenere Valle de Aconcagua delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine premium and site wine segment, this Chilean naturally enchants with the finest balance despite all dryness. Excellent taste does not necessarily need a lot of sugar. On the tongue, this balanced red wine is characterized by an incredibly fleshy and dense texture. The final of this red wine from the wine-growing region of Aconcagua finally convinces with a beautiful reverberation.

Vinification of the Arboleda Carmenere Valle de Aconcagua

The basis for the balanced Carmenere Valle de Aconcagua from Aconcagua are grapes from the grape variety Carmenère. After the hand harvest, the grapes arrive quickly at the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in small wood at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Carmenere Valle de Aconcagua is aged for another 12 months in French oak barriques.

This Chilean red wine is best enjoyed at a temperate 15 - 18°C. It is perfect as an accompaniment to vegetable couscous with beef meatballs, veal boiled beef with beans and tomatoes, or lamb stew with chickpeas and dried figs.
