The Carravalseca Tinto from the wine-growing region of La Rioja offers itself in the glass in bright ruby red, light yellow. To the nose, this Casa Primicia red wine shows all sorts of black currants, blueberries, blackberries and mulberries. As if that wasn't already impressive, other aromas like vanilla, dark chocolate and cocoa bean join in.
This Spanish wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with only 1.3 grams of residual sugar. As you would naturally expect from a wine in the upper price range, this Spaniard naturally enraptures with the finest balance despite all its dryness. Excellent taste does not necessarily need a lot of residual sugar. On the tongue, this well-balanced red wine is characterized by an incredibly dense texture. Due to the balanced fruit acidity, the Carravalseca Tinto flatters with a pleasing palate feeling, without lacking freshness. Finally, on the finish, this youthful from the La Rioja wine region delights with beautiful length. There are again hints of blackberry and mulberry.
