The Lugana Catulliano DOC from Pratello is a bright golden yellow with shiny green reflections in the glass. It exudes a beautiful aroma of limes, Granny Smith apples and yellow fruit. On the palate, this white wine from the west coast of Lake Garda is very soft and round with a perfect balance between sweet and sour flavors, with hints of peach melba, dried apricot and almond. The long finish is fruity and pleasantly fresh.
Vinification of the Lugana Catulliano DOC from Azienda Agricola Pratello
This Lugana from Pratello is an excellent, single-varietal Turbiana, also known as Trebbiano di Soave. After harvesting, the grapes are gently whole cluster pressed and the must fermented for 15 to 20 days. After fermentation, the must is matured in stainless steel tanks and the wine is then left to rest in the bottle for another 3 months. No animal products are used at all, which is why the Pratello Lugana is certified vegan.
