More information about Cava Rosado DO - Mont Marcal
Ideally poured into a sparkling wine glass, this Old World cava presents delightfully youthful aromas of mulberry, black cherry, plum and damson, rounded out by other fruity nuances.
On the tongue, this light-bodied cava is characterized by an incredibly light texture. Due to the balanced fruit acidity, the Cava Rosado flatters the palate with a pleasing feel, without lacking freshness at the same time. In the finish, this storable Cava from the wine-growing region of Catalonia finally inspires with good length. Once again, hints of mulberry and morello cherry are evident.
Vinification of the Cava Rosado from Mont Marcal
The elegant Cava Rosado from Spain is a single-varietal wine, pressed from the Trepat grape variety. At the time of optimal ripeness, the grapes for the Cava Rosado are harvested particularly quickly and at the coolest possible time of day to preserve their aromas. After the harvest, the grapes are quickly transferred to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. This is followed by bottle fermentation at controlled temperatures.
